As part of our geography learning, we went on a walk around Stannington.
We had already planned our route on a map and followed this as we walked around. We were really good at pointing out local places and finding these on our maps (even when they got a bit soggy!).
We talked about the features of our local area and identified whether they were human or physical features. We saw a lot of human features, like houses and shops, and had a good look over Loxley Valley at the physical features, such as the hills.
We had a lovely time!
