What a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious type of day we had in Year 2!
Mary Poppins came to visit our school and she bought lots of interesting toys for us to explore and play with.
We played with toys we hadn’t seen before and thought about the materials they were made from. We talked about the similarities and differences between the toys we have today and the ones from a long time ago. The wind up toys were great to play with, we had to be careful not to overwind them though!
Playing outside with old toys was so much fun – we learned lots of new games we can play with our friends.
