This week has been Art week across school. The children in Year 2 have learnt all about the French artist Henri Matisse and still life art. They have learnt lots of new and interesting facts.
The children have learnt many new observational skills when looking closely at “The Pink Tablecloth.”
The children have then gone on to create their very own still life arrangement, photograph and sketch it before creating a still life collage inspired by Henri Matisse.
