The children had a fabulous time during Puppets Week. They loved finding out about all the different puppets including hand puppets, string puppets and pop – up puppets.
FS designed and made sock puppets. They practised joining different materials and combined these to make their puppet.
Year 1 designed and made hand puppets. They practised threading needles and sewing using a running stitch.
Year 2 designed and made pop -up puppets. They practised threading needles and running stitch and back stitch.
We hope all the children have enjoyed playing with their puppets at home!
