We work in close partnership with and feel well supported by our parents. The governors are active in the life of the school. We pride ourselves on our friendly, welcoming ethos.
We are part of Peak Edge Academy Trust and work closely with the other schools in our Trust.
The curriculum we provide at Stannington Infant School is designed so that all children develop the curiosity, confidence and independence to attain highly.
The school was built in 1910 and benefits from a pleasant and rich environment, including a very large playing field and a wonderful school garden.

Class 5 ukulele concert
Class 5 treated families to their wonderful ukulele playing and singing this afternoon following their lessons with Paul Hawksworth. The children have been working hard all year and the enjoyment on their faces was a delight to observe. Well done class 5!
