We had the most wonderful time at the Sheffield Children’s Book Awards.
As we took our seats Craig Bradley, That Poetry Guy, was telling poems and asking us to join in. We loved it and the poems made us laugh.
We listened to the awards being presented for the Best Book in each category and then at the end ….. we met the authors! We took our copies of the book from school and the authors signed them for us.
We also met the Lady Lord Mayor of Sheffield – we have been invited to go for tea in the Lord Mayor’s Parlour.
We had a great day!
