Today the children in Year 1 have been out and about exploring the local area. The children were searching for both human and physical features in Stannington.
They were able to identify features in their local area – the village shop, the Co-op, the Post Office, the local library and the doctors.
They also identifies human features too, including: the open space in the park, the trees and autumn leaves too.
What a lovely morning we have had learning to be like a Geographer!
