Today we have been looking at healthy eating. We have talked about what is means to eat healthy and have sorted foods into healthy and unhealthy. We talked about eating 5 a day and how 1 portion is the same size as the palm of our hands. The children really enjoyed taste testing some fruits and vegetables.
After we decided to make our own healthy snacks. We designed our own fruit kebab by drawing and labelling what we would like to created. We then made our own fruit kebabs by following our designs. The best part was eating them … they tasted delicious!
